Hi pumuckl.
I was in your M&G, too.
I remember his remark about your shoes.

Re: Meeting Richard
I realized afterwards that I had forgotten things (my mind simply went blank).I must have been distracted... and I know why.Firefly74 wrote: I remember his remark about your shoes.

Hi firefly,
you was at the same Meet &Great.
This was my fist meeting with him. Yours too?
What do you think, remind about this meeting.
Best wishes.

I was sitting at the back of the room, at the window.
It wasn't my first meeting with RDA. I've met him 3 times in Duesseldorf, twice in Canada and once in England.
This was my 3rd M&G.
What I remember most about this M&G was that he was really relaxed and himself (as far as I can tell).
And that he seemed tired, which wasn't surprising with his schedule.
His unruly hair, that he hadn't eaten anything that day so far, that he mentioned his wish to travel more,...
That he was happy about being together with Amanda and Michael on stage.
There are bits of memory returning only now and then.
After my first M&G I wanted to write down what happened, but I was so nervous that my brain couldn't work or keep any information. And it happens again and again.
At least I remember the feeling.

Re: Meeting Richard
I met him briefly at Auckland's Armageddon Expo 2014. Huge cue and paid the $40 for his scribble on a 4x6" pic.
One of the best "hero meets" .
He made time to chat about travel and heat. Looking at his "body guard" I asked if I could shake his hand - Why Would I want to do that? he asked. Why not, I said.
He was genuinely taken a back.... and Thanked Me!!!
hehehehe... yes, I have since washed.

Sounds like a great meet up with RDA at the Auckland Armageddon Expo 2014. Am glad you got to shake his hand. No hugs? That would have been too ambitious? Either way, you got to talk to him and glad he took time to chat. He is the best!AMG wrote:I met him briefly at Auckland's Armageddon Expo 2014.
