Amazing political statements on education, environment...that only hollywood can get away with teaching us. Even in stargate the humanity and ethics themes came through. And fun. Always fun. Kate's work on this site is amazing. I read his biography and realize what a talented person he is, and fortunate to ne a dad to a wonderful young lady. I like the charities he supports. In all, he like a rare handful of our famous actors, has stepped out to try to use his success to help our environment, and young people. God bless him, his family;and Kate for providing this website so so many can express their thanks. Entertainment a difficult job, because so many know the actors as actors but want to know the person...and sheer numbers makes it impossible. But the enjoyment i have gotten from netflix dvds and now from macgyver series on netdvds, has been appreciated. Anderson is an awesome actor with wit, and again, bless him and his family.
Totally agree with you ;) :) and A huge welcome to the forum! :D

Yes indeed. He is a genuinely "nice guy" who also happens to be the best looking man on the planet and a great actor and producer. And, yes, totally agree - he MADE Stargate what it was - which was a tremendously popular and very longrunning series. Without Jack/RDA, Stargate was just another show. With him, it was spectacularly well done and great. :D :D :D

One of the things I noticed about him the first time I met him, is that when you talk to him, he makes you feel like he's only talking to you. He doesn't look at the line to see how many are left, he just focuses on you. He makes you feel important.

He seems to be authentic, so "real" in all that he does and says.
Even in his roles, everything fits together.
I think, he likes his own person - without being big-headed, of course! He looks as if he feels safe with himself, if I chose the right words (?).
And that is what I like most. :D
Only this way, you are able to love others: people and animals.

Grimey, well said, i agree. He is awesome intelligent. His humor and what i guess are ad libs, are missing from tv and movies even, today, imho. I am thankful to have found more of his movies through this site. Thanks!

I am AMAZED tjat he did his owm stunts. I think that is why my elderly mom likes macgyver...she relates well to real tv, not cgi, not faked with stunt men....somehow she knows difference. Now it it pretty scarey for me to watch episodes and know he's doing the stunts! There is never be such a macgyver series ever again, imho he cannot be replaced. And oh i like what jokes he makes. I am quick analytical but not genius word quips and humor. This will nevet get old for new generations. God bless him for entertainment. Could not watch these when they came out, or sg1 either...working all the time. So i appreciate watching this talented genius at work. Hope he publishes a photo book on theatre of the absurd.

Thank you again for fun fan site. I use a small phone and the letters are teeny tiny!! Plz forgive my mistakes.
