You French people are for long years familiar with sharing photographs in times of grief.
Once I visited a cemetery in France and found lots of pictures there, when this was still very unusual at least in Germany.
Nowadays it has become more common all over the world, I think.

What a beautiful women she was, knowing her from the times she was mentioned and what a warm farewell she had with her beautiful sons. In thoughts nearby with you, your brothers, her grandchildren and relatives and friends.
