If RDA ever wrote a book.....

Post by K9mom »

The other day I was rewatching the National Geographic documentary when RDA and Bobby Kennedy Jr visited the land in Canada and they went down the river. It got me thinking, (and I know it would be a very slim chance of ever happening) but I think his story of adventure's (starting as a kid) through his young adult and throughout. He was a diver, skydiver, race car driver, explorer, biker (both pedal and gas), etc, etc and then we get into getting to hollywood and acting stuff. He is a man I would say go to to live his life the way he wanted and had fun (which is why his body is screaming now, but he sure had fun when he was younger). Sure, he had rough patches but hell... he was a young independent man in the 70's. ;)

Just something I thought would be a fun read (and I hate reading!), lol!

Would be a great idea huh??? We've had a discussion somewhere else in the forum, lost the topic, but it would be a great book with fantastic grammar ;) if he wrote it ...and ofcourse if there is someone who could write a fantastic biography it's Kate (who is busy with fantastic lexicons at the moment)
A book of Quotes came in my mind directly I mean throughout his career he had fantastic quotes
Lots of love,

Lies

As much as I would love a memoir, I think he's too private to ever undertake something like that, which of course he has every right to be.

Still, it would be interesting to hear about some of his anecdotes from MacGyver, to how he dealt with fame, etc. Not only that, he's so funny it would be an entertaining read!

I love to read biographies and RDA's would be interesting. Or a book of funny quotes. I like those, too. I think he could produce an awesome photo art book, with great photo essay art comments.

He is an amazing photographer, so a photo book would be interesting and fun.

I love biographies and I would love a biography of him, too--but from a reliable source (no gossip). It's doubtful we would ever see that in print--the man is very private. Actually, his mystery is part of what makes him alluring, so why spoil that? Still, one can't help but be curious... ;)

During Lord of the rings, many fans were intrigued by strider, (Viggo m.), and he did some abstract photography during filming, sold them thru denmark. I bet that RDA might be awesome at art photography. And it would share with fans, without disclosing private stuff....at least VM's work was so abstract that it spoke more about the photo than VM, and that was cool. Was really abstract. I like the photos Rda shares with Kate's site.

I think I heard somewhere that David Duchovny writes fiction. Maybe if he felt up to it, RDA could do the same--a mystery perhaps?

Well.. he continues to talk about writing something. We'll have to see if he ever can focus enough, either way, I would assume there will be humor!
