This Makes Me Smile

I wasn't sure where to post this picture, but as it contains three things that make me happy - SG1, Hockey and Dollies - I thought I'd create this thread. I would love to see pictures of things that put smiles on other people's faces.

I'm currently in Tucson to pick up a special dollie I'm going to be delivering to someone at FedCon. When I arrived, the DollieMamma (Kat Xander) was in the process of making three dollies to accompany my little guy Tiger in our travels.

Things that make me happy... let me think...

I'm not going to include anything RDA/Mac/SG1 related.. because that (of coarse) is a given

Here are a few things that I can think of off the top of my head that make me happy


Yup, AIM makes me happy. I have a friend who lives far away, and we talk ALL THE TIME on AIM. Being able to hang out with her there makes me happy

And.. EPCOT!!!

Disneyworld in general makes me happy, but Epcot is my favorite park.

There are many more things that make me happy.... I'll have to post more later

Here's something that makes me smile: "my" mountain, Mount Pilchuck. I took this on one of my hikes the summer before I moved. This is not the actual peak; it's a ridge not far from the summit.


I took the picture on my way back down the mountain: that's the sunset glow you see. I was hauling ass so as not to be caught on the roughest part of the trail after dark.

What makes me smile? Of course a pic of smiling Rick, you just HAVE to smile back.

But besides this many animals, especially this little cutie never fails to make me smile

And a night with clear skies and my telescope and me watching the stars ... thats sometimes like meditation and it always make me smile

In the meantime... here is my brother's hedgehog that I mentioned earlier She's albino lol. Her name is Minnie and she ALWAYS makes me smile She is such a character

Hello all,

thanks for sharing your photos of your pets and other things.
Talking about pets, I have four cats amongst other cohabitants.I recently combed them and took 'recycling' a step further . I put all the hair in a basket and hung it up for the birds, now they have some nice fluffy material for their nests. I set a camera up right next to the basket and filmed the coming-and-going and it showed that the cats' hair seemed to be popular .
Hmmm, I wonder what the puss cats would think if they knew where their hair went
