Taking a break on the forums before I drive home from the office. It's Thursday, and I stay late on Thursdays to do the computer maintenance.

The drive home is an hour when the traffic is bad. This late, it'll only be 45 minutes. \o/

I just signed up to be a volunteer for the 9th annual Rubber Ducky Derby in Chicago on August 7th. It's a fantastic fund-raiser for the Illinois Special Olympics. People "adopt" rubber duckies and then they (the duckies not the people) are dumped into the Chicago River. They've had over 50,000 ducks adopted in previous years. People have a chance to win a lot of nice prizes, including a new car. Here's a link for more information if anyone is interested::

My wife and I just watched our weekly rationed episode of Firefly. She's never seen the show before, and with only one season, we're doling the episodes out. After this, I get to introduce her to Babylon 5!
