Thanks Michelle,

there are very interesting courses and videos. I'm sure I'll have a closer look and attend to some of them.
Altough I'm an old girl, I'm still interested in learning some new stuff, both for my job and my hobby.

Five minutes ago I was searching through Michelle's links, totally oblivious to the world around me

Thinking I should pack (going on holiday) instead of reading all the posts here and sending some. But I can't (pack up).First time in my life I'd rather stay here( to get news from Baltimore). I'll miss all the fun :( and patience isn't one of my qualities...Well I'll have to wait.

Riding on the train on my way back home from work. And 5 minutes ago I decided to change my background on my smartphone. Instead of my adorable cat I put serious Jack. It was time for a change. :D

From where, Caty :)?

Do you know Tove Jansson - the Finnish author and painter, who the best known as the author of Moomin books? She would have her 100th birthday today, if she still lives. So Finland is celebrating her birthday today. She really deserve it - I love her works and books and especially the Moomins :) .

Hi j-sky: I feel the same way about Roald Dahl and EB White, who wrote some of my favorite books as a young girl. I'm now passing those books down to my granddaughter. I've never read Tove Jansson, but it sounds as if she evokes some wonderful childhood memories in you. :D
