Oi! No, I'm the one who's sympathising with YOU!tvero80 wrote:We stayed all day in a poorly lit, very cold room on seats which were very hard because they were made of wood ... so you see Beth? I really do sympathise
I find it very strange that my life has turned out this way, so that somebody else is actually paying for me to stay in a crazy-fancy hotel. The best way I know to stay grounded is to giggle over silly things such as the inability of a fancy hotel to put a fan in the bathroom. They have all this money, but they miss the obvious, functional things.

5 minutes ago I was down in the garages (I live in a condo-apartment) to teach my daughter the maneuvers to park the car in out garage.
Fortunately she didn't bump my car on my husbands' one!

Just before I singed in, I was reading some MacGyver Fanfiction. I was actually reading a MacGyver/Mass Effect (video game) crossover fic..... It was really good, and well written
Before I did that my dad took me for a spin in his new truck that he just got today. Its a beautiful cherry red, and he is so proud of it

@ Pam
That is a really lovely photo.
I just got back from a really wicked concert. The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra played film music while showing some extracts of the various movies http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_gr4jYTYgI, it inspired me to pick up my flute again. Now I'm getting my backpack ready for a two day silent meditation retreat at a Buddhist monastery in the mountains.
Have a wonderful weekend all
