I was shocked when I heard it this morning. But he will live along with his music.

I'll never forget "Space Oddity", one of my favorite songs

Sad news. It was hard to believe when I heard it this morning.

Then I got an email from RDA on an unrelated topic, and he ended with a PS: "Did David Bowie die?!! I am crushed."

Seems he was a fan too.

So sad. One of my favorite memories is watching the Bing Crosby Christmas program in 1977 with my family. David Bowie was a guest on the show. My dad wasn't much of a fan of his until he heard him sing "The Little Drummer Boy" with Mr. Crosby. He decided that "kid" wasn't such a bad singer after all. Rest in Peace David.

I was sad when I read this new this morning, me too...

I wasn't fan of this artist but he was a character in the music world.

I was on the road when I heard of the news... I was in shock... I liked his music! Glad that he find his rest now, I mean cancer is a awful disease!

Not much of a fan myself, but i thought his music was ok. I remember him with Patsy Kensit in Absolute Beginners.

I didn't want to start a new topic but Alan Rickman (Robin Hood,Love Actually,Harry Potter...) has passed away .Same age, same dreadful disease as David Bowie.
I was very sad to hear the news .I was a fan.RIP.
