Thank you! Tomorrow I'll turn 43, officially older than MacGyver (ended when he was 42 unless you include the movies). And, yes, I do usually compare my age to MacGyver since he has been in my life since I was 11!

Aside from irate female fans, I think Mac never settled down for the same reasons RDA didn't. They both lived a hard, busy lifestyle with work and play that just never allowed much time for the attention a wife and family deserve. We see how RDA slowed down for Wylie, although he still never married...

Until MacGyver came into my life, I had thought that people are either athletic OR intelligent. And if there should be anybody able to be both, I could not imagine that such a person would be nice and friendly or even modest. :D :D :D For I am intelligent myself, I concluded I could not be talented...
