Re: What literary character do you picture looking like RDA?

One of the reasons I think of him as Hamlet has to do with MacGyver and how many times he seemed to be holding a skull in that show, like in Secret of Parker House. I love his expression when Penny says to him, "Well, that would sound more convincing if you weren't holding a human skull". When...

Re: What RDA Tv show/movie did you watch recently?

I've been watching MacGyver (I own the box set that came out last year). His "Eye" movies (LOL)--Eyes of a Stranger and Eyes of a Killer--are also on heavy rotation at the moment.

Re: What literary character do you picture looking like RDA?

No, I haven't read the detective books you're referring to, but when I do read mysteries, I almost always picture the detective characters as him, too (unless they're female, of course. ;) ).

Thanks for the welcome! :D

What literary character do you picture looking like RDA?

This is something I do for fun--okay, so I don't get out much. When I'm reading, I try to picture the characters and scenes as if they were real, using my vivid imagination. I have done this since I was a kid, and this is why I take such immense pleasure in reading and writing--because if you ...

Re: Eyes of a Killer

Ooo photos! That makes it even better! :D Thanks for posting! Even though this movie scared the heck out of me, I will probably watch it again today. As you could tell by my first post, I loved it. Did anyone else feel a little sorry for his character? A part of him seemed more like a sad, messed-up...

Re: THUNK!!

Ah, more lovely pics of Jack Rourke. I love that scene where he tells her he loves her. The expression on his face as he struggles with his emotions just seemed so genuine. What an amazing actor. Thanks as always--you made my Sunday! :D

Eyes of a Killer

I just finished watching this, and OMG! :o  I am still shaking with adrenaline! I will probably have nightmares for a week, but it was worth it. ;) I loved the homage to Hitchcock--using Tippi Hendren was a nice touch (yes, I may be a youngun', but I love my classic films). RDA was brilliant ...

Re: Favorite funny quotes of RDA from Stargate SG1

 I love them all. One of my favorites is from Menace (one of my favorite episodes), when he says to Daniel, "I don't like most of what you say. I have to resist the urge to shove you into a wall" or something close to that--forgive me if I'm a little off on the quote. Sure, it's sarcastic and a...

Re: New to the Forum!

Aw man, I've been hooked on Jack Rourke for the past few days. Actually, that beard really does get to me--in a good way. ;) It suits him. It makes him look so rugged and wild and impossibly sensual. The movie is not the best, but like everything else he's in, RDA makes it so much better. Tha...
