Re: Thank you, Kate

Awesome features ! THANK YOU, KATE ! :D Thanks :) The Features section is probably the least visited section, but there is an awful lot of creativity and nostalgia tucked away in there, and I didn't want it to be lost. Most of the items in there were using such old code that they haven't worked pro...

Re: Things That Make You Go Hmmm...

Nobody else has those frequent little moments that trigger an RDA memory? I have another one... In 2002, a few of us RDA fans joined the Earth River expedition to Headwall Canyon, the same trip RDA took for the National Geographic special. (I can't believe that was 17 years ago already!!) Anyway, am...

Re: Things That Make You Go Hmmm...

My question for you is what did he say when you discussed whether or not he was interested in getting back into taking any sort of acting roles??? Did he say he would consider it? Did he say what was going on with his agent or does he still have an agent???? It doesn't seem that he is actually look...

Re: Things That Make You Go Hmmm...

I had another example yesterday. I went to see the movie "The Art of Racing in the Rain." Have you seen it? Sweet movie. And it combines auto racing and dogs, so it's only natural that RDA would be brought to mind. The movie opened a couple of weeks ago, but back during the weekend of the Raleigh co...

Re: Things That Make You Go Hmmm...

I am curious Kate if you know the episode in Season 2 where RDA hurt his back by chasing the bad guys and his foot went into a hole in uneven ground. Is it 'Silent World' from Season 2? He did a lot of running in that episode and was just curious. Thanks. I never knew for sure. One interview pinpoi...

Re: Things That Make You Go Hmmm...

I had another moment this morning. One of the morning talk shows was talking about whether being a "dog person" or a "cat person" was genetically determined. Studies seem to show that either you are born a dog lover or you're not. Of course, my thoughts went to RDA. On one of my visits, I met Andy a...

Re: Things That Make You Go Hmmm...

What pops in to mind is this, at the moment.. When we stood in the queue last year in Utrecht, he mentioned he had some very nasty dutch cookies. I think he had dutch macaroons "Bittercookies", they are very bitter, so I gave him a "stroopwaffle" the day after.. Thinking often of that moment when I...

Re: Things That Make You Go Hmmm...

I always have to think about RDA with a smile when I see men in shorts with thick boots and this thick white tennis socks (    I know fans have been ridiculing his white socks for decades, but it's probably worth noting that his choice of footwear has more to do with health tha...

Things That Make You Go Hmmm...

"Things That Make You Go Hmmm..." was a running theme on Arsenio (and apparently inspired a song), so I'm wondering if it might inspire some conversation here. How often during the day does RDA pop into your head for one reason or another? Maybe something happens that sparks a memory of an encounter...

Re: Website Redesign

I think I may have finally figured it out. I discovered that Adobe Premiere will open an SWF file, but ONLY as a VIDEO file. My other software will either open or convert an SWF file but ONLY as an AUDIO file. So I managed to edit the two versions together in Premiere and make an mp4 out of it. It's...
