Re: THUNK!!

So while I do know my way around the website, I still feel like a newbie and I am a bit hesitant about posting! Oh yeah, if I ever post something incorrect or whatever, please tell me. Like I said, I am new to this! However, I do know that y'all will probably help me with any questions I have! Than...

Re: Chat Room

I will probably be missing the next few chats, too. I'll be volunteering at Colonial Williamsburg, but I can check in when I get back home to see if anyone is still there. Lately, it seems, we have as many Americans as Europeans at the "European" chat. Anyone is welcome, of course, hoping that the t...

Re: A Question on My Mind

Hi, a friend told me my name was on here so I thought I'd reply. I'm Katrina Leffler and RDA and I dated many years ago. He was such a nice guy, and obviously one of the best looking guys ever. I have really good memories of him, so this is fun to read about. Hi Katrina, You must have been amused b...

Re: Dutch Names

I can explain Van Zutphen already. Maybe you figured it out also but that literally ment that he came from Zutphen.."from Zutphen" is the translation of "Van Zutphen" in the past it was used to let people know where they came from.. I'll mail you when I know more about the rest😉 It's fun to dive in...

Re: Dutch Names

Sometimes you see Patronymics back in the last name: Pieterssen, Janssen, etc... Last names often stay the same unless people want to change it.. Going to dive into Duch history..you'll hear from me soon😉 Thanks, Lies! :) We can chat by email, since it's so off topic, but I thought I'd post here in...

Dutch Names

This is WAAAY off topic, and I'll likely delete it soon, but I could use some advice from our Dutch members. I'm working on genealogy (my OTHER hobby), and I have been trying to make sense of the names on my Dutch line going back to New Amsterdam. I think I finally figured out the pattern of first n...

Re: Stargate Figures in Action

Loved the props.

I think the funniest part was Jack, in the middle of a conversation, picking up a prop airplane and fiddling with it.

So RDA.

Re: Game - Guess the MacGyver screenshot

Could be... those stripes of his shirt confuse me... looks darker in on a wing and a prayer, but it could be different in light.. Apparently he has a wardrobe of those striped shirts! Yesterday they aired Tommy Giordano - in the beginning he had a shirt with dark blue and black stripes, then in the...

Re: Game - Guess the MacGyver screenshot

I'm watching "On a Wing and a Prayer" right now on MeTV. Remember those 4 pictures Kate posted a while ago? Picture 4 looks like it could be from this episode. Although it might have been a publicity photo, rather than a scene from the episode. Thank you to everyone who is continuing to look for th...

Re: This is good bye for good

If the issue is with other forums, then you need to deal with them there. Not here. If your true purpose was to resurrect this tired old topic about lies and rumors yet again, then I say once more that asking the same questions repeatedly year after year does not change the answer. If you are "confu...
