Re: Thank you, Kate

Ouch! That was a rough landing for the lifeguard! :o Hope the puppy appreciates the sacrifice. And a rapid recovery for RDA! Have a feeling he and Wylie will have special plans during one of her breaks this year. Not quite the same as an 18th birthday and that special trasition time between high sch...

Re: Legend on DVD

Woo hoo! I just pre-ordered Legend using Kate's link! I'll try to remember to use the link in the future. I've been doing my part to keep Amazon in business for the past few weeks. I try to shop locally as much as possible, but sometimes Amazon is the best--or only reasonable--option. Hoping to orde...

Re: RDA at Phoenix Comic Con

Welcome to Phoenix! If you love blue skies and sunshine, you'll be thrilled with the Valley of the Sun during Phoenix Comic Con! :) You also will need to love very warm to hot temperatures. According to local forecasts, the high today and tomorrow (Thursday) should be about 110F degrees, cooling off...

Re: RDA at Phoenix Comic Con

Always on the move.Just after Germany!!! And he'll be going from a place that has and average high temperature of 70°F (21°C) to a place with an average high of 95°F (35°C). Don't envy him. :D More likely around 105, unfortunately. We're already in the 90s--although we should back off into the 80s ...

Re: RDA at Phoenix Comic Con

YES!!! And I'm getting tickets! :-) Michelle Woohoo! Congratulations, Michelle! Thinking. Thinking. Thinking. I'm only about 20 miles or so away, the price of admission is very reasonable. When I saw the various events RDA attended last year, I made a mental note to see him if he came to Phoenix. R...

Re: RDA at Phoenix Comic Con

I am the Dollie Mama, because I make the little SG1 dollies for friends, but RDA has no need to fear. There is NO WAY I would go up to Phoenix (lovingly called "Hades" by us Tucsonans) in the summer for any reason. In fact, I avoid that city ANY time of year, even if they do have hockey. ...

Re: If I saw Richard Dean Anderson in the store....

Knowing myself all too well, probably: A. I would not recognize him. I dislike shopping and tend to have a list and be on a mission to do what is necessary and exit the store as quickly as possible! There are a few exceptions, of course... ;) OR B. If I recognized him, I would not acknowledge him in...

Re: thank you, Kate

Yay! Kate's back! And she brought the forum with her! ;) Thanks for all of your work on the site and forum, Kate. It's greatly appreciated--even if I am late arriving at the party! Not sure if it is important, but Google Chrome took me to the old forum. I just assumed that you were still working on ...
