Dear Richard Dean Anderson,

Since I moved away from everyone and everything I know, Stargate has been one thing that has helped me to tie a knot at the end of my rope and hang on. And of course, Jack is my favorite character! I also can clearly remember watching MacGyver with my family, even though I was only four when it started! So, in short, your career thus far has been important to many people in many different ways, and I am one of those people. Now that I am making friends here in Maryland, me and some of my new friends plan to have a girls' night full of watching Stargate SG-1 and eating pizza. I'm sure we'll do the same for MacGyver when it comes out on DVD. I hope that on your birthday you have as much joy as you have brought to me, indirectly, over the years. Enjoy your day, and all the days to follow. Look forward to seeing you in more projects in the future, but hope you are able to take the time to enjoy your family, as well.
